It takes a village to plan, organize, and create a major event. At SRO, we've built a team of individuals equipped with the experience, skills, and friendly personalities to produce events of every scale. While working with one of our representatives, you can confidently put your event and trust in our hands.

- MEET THE TEAM -

Kent Martin

President

Hometown: Martinsville, VA

Years in the Business: I founded SRO in October 1981 - 34 Years. I majored in Music at Virginia Tech where later I developed an interest in production after graduating. Since then, I've worked closely with William Morris, Dick Clark Productions, Signature Entertainment, and nearly every touring act in the business.

The most important element is producing a show is... Details, Details, Details! Also, providing exceptional service to the client. Planning a show and day of production should be carefree, easy and seamless for the client.

First Concert I Ever Attended: The Buckinghams with Neil Diamond, and Tommy James and The Shondells in '69!

Kristen Moser

Agent / Concert Consultant

Hometown: Nicholasville, Kentucky

Years in the Business: 15 years. My parents also worked in production as I was growing up so the bug bit me at a very early age.

The most important Key Element to planning a show/event is... Being organized.  Thinking through every detail, organizing all the information, creating a detailed schedule and then making sure everyone is on the same page.  Organization = Success.

Favorite Show/Event: My favorite event every year is the Big O Fest in Owensboro, KY. It's a one day multi-act country festival that is a blast! The staff, artists, and crowds are always fantastic.

First Concert I Attended: I was 3 years old and I actually got to sing a song with Martina McBride at the KY Mountain Laurel Festival. I believe that is when I first fell in love with festivals and the music business.

Chantel Clark

Office Manager / Agent / Concert Consultant

Hometown: Roanoke, VA

My favorite thing about producing an event is... Meeting new people and working with great clients.

The most important element is producing a show is... Organization, communication, and preparation. Plan ahead!

Favorite Show/Event:  My favorite was the first show I got to organize and head on my own. It was with Love & Theft, Montgomery Gentry, and Charlie Daniels. I had so much fun!

First Concert I Ever Attended: Billy Ray Cyrus! My dad took me to my first concert - I even got to meet Billy!

Brian Crews

Nashville Division Manager

Hometown: Roxboro, North Carolina

Years in the Business: 3 Years at SRO, 12 years total in the industry.

My favorite part of seeing a show come together is... Watching the audience react and receive the artists and show positively. It's so rewarding to see fans singing along with their favorite artists or knowing that in that moment they are discovering new music for the first time and loving it.

The most important element in producing a show is... Researching artists and acts best for the client's target demographic. I love being able to bring the best options to the table - Artists that will not only put on an incredible performance but also meet the needs and budget of the event.

First Concert I Attended: Sammy Kershaw at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, NC.

John Speight

Agent / Concert Consultant

Hometown: New Bern, North Carolina

Years in the Business: 1 Year at SRO Promotions, 15 years in the Music/Booking Industry.

Favorite Show/Event: My favorite event thus far would have to be my first event (Craig Wayne Boyd in New Bern, NC for the Sudan Shriners). It was a lot of pressure and I was nervous being responsbile for such a major event but at the end of the day, everything came together seamlessly and I was proud for all we accomplished.

The most important element in producing an event is... Communication. Show day (and every day leading up to) can be an incredibly busy day and with clear, precise communication you eliminate any chances of hangups.

First Concert I Attended:  I was 15 - Hootie & The Blowfish “The Fairweather Johnson” Tour with Sister Hazel at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC.
